On February 4 at 7:30pm, she’ll be speaking at New York University’s Torch Club at 18 Waverly Place, NYC. Jenni’s presentation is called “From Recovery to Liberation: Recover from an Eating Disorder and Fall in Love with Life.” This is a free presentation and you do not have to be a student at NYU to attend. Joining Jenni will be Michael E. Berrett, PhD, psychologist, and CEO and cofounder of Center for Change, an eating disorder center. His presentation, “Taking Care of Yourself While Helping a Loved One Who is in an Addictive Process,” is designed for families of folks with eating disorders, as well as those who have family members dealing with substance, gambling and sex addictions. It’s ideal for caregivers who struggle with providing support to themselves and the ones they love. I’m also proud to say that this evening is co-sponsored by iaedpNY, of which I’m chapter president. This should be an educational and life-changing event for so many, and I encourage all my NY/NJ blog readers, clients and friends to go.
