Chocolate Strawberry Creami

(gluten-free optional, dairy-free optional)

  • The Ninja® CREAMi®

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups fresh ripe strawberries trimmed, chopped finely
  • cup hot water
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • 1 TBSP cocoa powder
  • Pinch of sea salt optional
  • 2/3 cup full-fat condensed unsweetened coconut milk or full-fat oat milk

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine the cocoa powder and sugar (and salt, if desired). Slowly add the hot water, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is dissolved.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the coconut milk with the cocoa mixture. Stir until well blended, then add the strawberries.
  • Pour the mixture into an empty CREAMi® Pint. Place a storage lid on the pint and freeze for 24 hours.
  • Remove the pint from the freezer and remove the lid from the pint. Place the pint in the outer bowl, install Creamerizer Paddle onto the outer bowl lid, and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place the bowl assembly on the motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.
  • Select ICE CREAM.
  • Remove the pint from the Ninja® and ice cream from the pint. Serve immediately.
  • Eat mindfully engaging all five senses.

Notes

Caution: Be sure to only fill ingredients to the max fill line. The Ninja® CREAMi® will not close and spin, if over the max fill line. If planning to add mix-ins, fill to slightly below the max fill line.
