
18 Feb Valentines (or anytime!) Dates

These no-bake dates are a delicious sweet snack that literally taste like snickers, yet are made of real, whole ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 10 oz pitted dates
- Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
- Coconut Oil
- Natural Peanut Butter
- Graham Crackers
- Sprinkles (optional, + any topping of your choice!)
Directions:
- Cut or spread open pitted dates
- Fill each date with about ½ tsp of peanut butter or nut butter of your choice
- Crush graham crackers in a separate bowl and sprinkle into each date
- Pinch the dates together (they don’t have to be glued shut!)
- Add Melting Wafers (or traditional chocolate chips) to a microwave safe small bowl with ~1 tsp of coconut oil to help with smooth texture
- Microwave chocolate and coconut oil together in 30 second intervals mixing between to avoiding burning, until reached desired smoothness
- Place each individual date in the melted chocolate, using a spoon or fork swirling the date until it is fully “dipped”
- Place each chocolate dipped date on a lined parchment paper tray
- Sprinkle toppings
- Freeze for ~20-30 minutes
- ENJOY!!
These can stay stored in the fridge or freezer for up to 2 weeks. Pro Tip: if you choose the freezer option, let them sit for a few minutes before serving for optimal texture consistency!
