18 Feb Oven Roasted French Fries
With 4 simple ingredients: potatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper, you can forego the frozen version with you very own homemade french fries!
INGREDIENTS (Serves 4)
- 2 medium russet potatoes, unpeeled *Keep skin on for fiber!
- olive oil spray
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a roasting tray (or sheet pan) with olive oil.
Slice each unpeeled potato lengthwise, into 1/2- to 1/3-inch wedges. In a large bowl, combine potato wedges, salt, pepper and lightly coat with olive oil spray.
Toss together so that every wedge is seasoned and spread the batch into an even layer on the roasting tray. Bake for 30 minutes, or until they’re golden, crisp and cooked through. Remember to turn potatoes over after 15 minutes.
