The L’ifestyle Lounge has added new classes and modified class times to meet your needs. Read below to get the latest scoop on the schedule. Register online before coming to a drop-in class or semester-long class.
The Lounge is set back from the street. Keep your eyes open. We are on the south side of the street with our own parking lot in front of our building. The lounge is located on the entire ground floor of 308 Harrington Ave. Closter, NJ.
Wise Warriors – Ages 8-13-years-old (Age and schedule change)
Yoga basics for boys to gain strength of mind and body, confidence and resilience. Each class consists of a Vinyasa flow while learning how to breathe mindfully. Join at anytime. Sundays at 3 pm. Click here to register.
Wise Warriors – Ages 14-16-years-old (Age and schedule change)
Yoga basics for older boys to learn how to be grounded as well as flexible on and off the yoga mat. Each class consists of a Vinyasa flow while learning how to breathe mindfully, while instilling self-confidence and self-acceptance. Join at anytime. Saturdays at 10:15 am.
Girl Power Hour – Ages 7-10-years-old (Day change)
For girls to develop a loving relationship with their bodies! Move with your body not against it and learn all bodies fit. This is peace, love and poses! Each girl receives a mindful coloring book and an “Eat Kale and Cupcakes” tank. Join at anytime. Fridays at 3:45pm.
EmpowHER – Ages 11-14-years-old (Time change)
For tweens and teens to develop a healthy relationship with food and body. This semester-long class is a moving meditation on and off the yoga mat, teaching girls body acceptance and mindfulness. Two sessions include mindful eating and nutrition education by a staff registered dietitian. Think compassion and kindness. Join at anytime. Tuesdays at 4:45 pm.
Buddha Bodies – Ages 16-years-old through Adult (Updated)
Beginner yoga for all body types, or for anyone who wants to get comfortable moving in their own body. Class is guided by Certified Eating Disorder RD and RYT Laura Cipullo. Self care begins here. Come with a compassionate mind and get ready to find your pride. Tuesdays at 7:15 pm.
ED Warriors – Ages 16-years-old through Adult (NEW class)
Change your relationship with food, body and exercise, through yoga. This is not a calorie burning activity rather an opportunity to work with your body and get back to yoga basics. Classes are lead by experts in the field of eating disorders including a L’ifestyle Lounge RD and or a LCSW. This class is offered as a drop in class for the months of March and April 2017. Thereafter, it will become a semester-long class. Saturdays at 2 pm.
Prenatal Bliss – For Pregnant Yogis (Our instructor is back from maternity leave)
Join our Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor as you learn to flow through your pregnancy. Mondays at 7:15 pm and Saturdays at 11:30 am.
Aging Gracefully – For Adults (Time change and updated)
For anyone who wants a gentle yoga class that includes progressive relaxation techniques. Inhale peace and exhale stress. Learn to move with your body, not against. Chairs, meditation cushions and blocks are available. Tuesdays at 10 am and Thursdays at 9:30 am.
Chair Yoga – For Adults (NEW class)
Yoga is for every body and everybody. Here at the Lounge, we aim to meet your needs. Take a seat in a chair, set your intention, and bind your breath with the poses. Saturdays at 11:15 am.
